Specialists of the analytical control laboratory of LLC Irkutskenergo Engineering Center are ranked in the top five following the first stage of the 2017 Interlaboratory Proficiency Testing Program organized by CJSC ROSSA

Participants of the first stage of the Interlaboratory Proficiency Testing Program included 507 laboratories of Russian enterprises such as Municipal Unitary Enterprise GORVODOKANAL (Novosibirsk), Municipal Unitary Enterprise Kostromagorvodokanal and Federal State-Funded Health Care Institution Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Perm Territory. Under the terms of the competition, accuracy assessment covered 63 laboratories that determined the value of ten or more indicators.

Accuracy of analysis is expressed as an index which is calculated using a formula that takes into account how close each result of the analysis submitted by a laboratory is to the certified value (a higher index means a higher level of accuracy). The best laboratories at each stage are issued with certificates confirming the high accuracy of analysis. Following the completion of the annual program, three winners are selected from among the laboratories that participated in three or more stages and determined the value of a total of at least 20 indicators. Winners of the competition are awarded a winner's certificate.

In March 2013, the analytical control laboratory of LLC Irkutskenergo Engineering Center ranked second among 293 Russian laboratories participating in the Interlaboratory Proficiency Testing Program. In March 2015, it ranked first among 479 laboratories.
